Touching on the interesting, unique subject of the 90’s Christian UFO cult called Heaven’s Gate, ‘Heaven’s Gate’ is the fourth single from Emily Breeze’s upcoming debut album Rituals. The track itself touches on psychedelic influences, with swirling reverb heavy production giving off an apocalyptic, spacey vibe. Of the track, she says “I was interested in how a seductive promise of eternal salvation can compel a person to hand over all personal agency to devote themselves entirely to a belief system, especially one as bizarre and deadly as Heaven's Gate”.
